Top developmental organization LFA will soon host its first international events.

LFA president Ed Soares today announced that the organization will travel to Brazil in July for two events in a three-night stretch.

“We are excited to finally bring the LFA to Brazil,” LFA CEO Ed Soares stated. “Brazil is the birthplace of modern-day MMA and has produced many of the most legendary fighters, coaches, and fight teams in the sport. The incredible fight fans in Brazil have been supporting and watching LFA events for years on Canal Combate, so it made perfect sense to bring the LFA to Brazil.

“As the premier developmental organization in the world, we will now be able to develop Brazilian talent on their home soil.”

LFA 111 takes place Friday, July 16, with LFA 112 scheduled for Sunday, July 18. Both cards will take place at Upper Arena in Rio de Janeiro and stream live on UFC Fight Pass.

Bout announcements for the two events are expected shortly.
