The 2022 Love Island star appeared at an event for BPerfect cosmetics in Glasgow and was all smiles as she posed for photos and met fans.

Ekin-Su even got to hang out with Scots-born Love Islander Laura Anderson, who found fame on the ITV2 reality show in 2018.

Laura had handed her adorable baby daughter Bonnie over to her mum for the day before heading to the showbiz party.

She had never met 29-year-old Ekin before but seemed thrilled to have finally been giving the chance.

In a video shared to both their Instagram accounts, Laura says: “I’ve finally got to meet the beautiful Ekin…”

Butting in, Ekin said: “And I’ve finally got to meet the beautiful Laura.”

Laura, 34, then revealed: “We’re hiding in the back because it’s a little bit hot!”

Ekin showed their followers that she was drinking a bottle of water, while Laura admitted: “You’re on the water and I might have a Prosecco because I’m not on mum duties!”

The new pals then gave fans a flash of their dresses before they blew kisses at the camera.

Until now, Ekin-Su has shied away from the spotlight following her exit from Celebrity Big Brother last month.

Marisha Wallace reignites Ekin-Su feud as evicted CBB star reveals she didn’t ‘trust’ Love Island winner

The star even shunned the live CBB final having emerged from the house to a backlash, marred with Ofcom complaints.

In a statement released after her eviction, Ekin said she had been going through her “lowest moments” and was taking a step back from the public eye.

She said: “I know it’s unlike me to hide away, but I’ve been taking some time to reflect. Sometimes in our lowest moments, we learn the most important lessons about ourselves.”

“I hope you don’t think I was selfish for setting boundaries and putting my own needs first last night. I’m fully aware that not everybody will understand my absence, or think it was the right decision to make, BUT it was the right decision for me.

“I chose to remove myself from a potentially uncomfortable situation that I preferred to avoid. I’m proud of myself for recognising what I need during this time, despite the hate that might come my way.”

Ekin continued: “Accountability is key and when I’m ready, I will give some context around these past few weeks. Thank you to everybody who has sent kindness my way, I see you, and I appreciate you. The new chapter starts now.”

She added: “I hope everyone enjoyed watching the CBB final. A huge congratulations to David [Potts] for the win. Xx.”

During her time in CBB, Ekin appeared to turn on her friend Louis Walsh by picking him for eviction during nominations.

She was then branded a “hypocrite” for being furious with Broadway star Marisha Wallace for nominating her.

Ekin sobbed in the bedroom as she struggled for forgive an upset Marisha.

After her eviction from the house, fans complained to watchdog Ofcom in their droves after a tense exchange on spin-off show Late and Live.

Ekin eventually returned to social media on April 4 with a single-word message, saying: “Grateful.”
